We recommend booking your residential move at least 3-4 weeks in advance, especially during the busy summer months (May-September). For commercial relocations or moves during peak times, consider booking 6-8 weeks ahead to ensure availability. However, we understand that moves can sometimes happen unexpectedly. If this happens, just give us a call! One of our Sales Representatives will work to create a same day estimate. We also provide Saturday & Sunday availability to help in these situations.

Polar Moving & Storage offers complete packing solutions for your move. We provide professional-grade boxes, specialty containers, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, and other supplies needed for safe transport. We can deliver any packing material you need to your home, or you can pick it up directly at our warehouse. Whether it’s a full pack, partial pack, or just material delivery, our team can get it done.

Our professional residential and commercial moving teams use specialized techniques and materials when handling fragile or high-value items. We individually wrap delicate pieces in protective materials, use custom crating for artwork and antiques, and employ dedicated padding systems for electronics and other sensitive equipment. All valuable items receive extra attention during both the packing and transportation phases, and we can provide additional insurance options for particularly valuable possessions for your peace of mind.

Polar Moving offers free in-person estimates. If you’re in another state, we can set up a virtual walk through. After seeing the home and assessing the belongings being moved, we’ll provide a detailed quote. Request an estimate through our website or give us a call during our office hours.

Our pricing is transparent and based on several factors including distance, home size, item volume, specific services requested (packing, storage, specialty item handling), and move timing. For local moves, we typically offer hourly rates with minimum time requirements, while long-distance relocations are usually priced by weight and distance. We provide detailed, no-obligation estimates after conducting a thorough assessment of your moving needs, either virtually or through an in-home consultation.

To ensure an efficient moving process, we kindly request that you pack all items in clearly labeled boxes and maintain clear pathways for our professional moving team. Please designate a specific area for items that will remain at your current location. We must also inform you that certain items cannot be transported in our vehicles due to safety regulations, including but not limited to live plants, liquids, aerosol products, and flammable materials. Alternative arrangements should be made for these items.
